[Nakasato Dinosaur Kingdom]
4. Reconstruction Completed!
After each section has been built up, we once connect those sections and then take them to pieces to paint the steel bars. We rebuild the whole thing together again and the reconstruction will be completed. Also a lot of data are collected through these steps.

STEP4. Build them up together

Now we connect each completed section to one another. All the staff are so nervous about connecting the armature structure because the bones might run into each other, but it is also a very exciting moment to see the figure of the dinosaur coming up. We check the whole body and move on to the next step.

STEP5. Take them all to pieces temporarily and paint the steel bars

steel frame painting; before and after
We must take this step because the steel bars and clamps might show traces of weldment or might get rusty without being painted.
Records are taken so rebuilding them would be easier later on, especially after their return to Mongolia.
First we take off the clamps and fossils and place them on a paper. We trace the outlines and write down the position and identification code for each fossil, clamp and steel bar.
Then we remove the rust on the steel bar and clamp, brush on some anticorrosive and after that some paint. We chose chocolate-colored paint.
When the paint is dried we confirm each identification code by applying the paper, and write the code on that part.

STEP6. Rebuild them all together

This is the final step. We hold the fossils with the clamps again, and connect them to the steel bars.
Now the reconstruction is all done. The dinosaur appears in front of you with a new life.
